New, clean, and definitely comparable to hotels in the area rated 4 star. The pool was fabulous... restaurant on site very good for breakfast. Beds were fine... the overly large bedskirts were... weird? But it didn't ruin anything for me. It was full and our room was silent... unlike other hotels no door closing sounds from neighbors and the halls were bright and fresh. For St John's, this is about as good as there is and the pricing was on point!
This is our second time staying here. The rooms are very modern & clean. The pool is well maintained. The grandkids love going here. Beautiful spot!!
We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The food at the restaurant is very good. They offer an actual breakfast not just muffins and bread like most places. My boyfriend rated the fish and chips as the best he's ever had. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. All the staff were great. We had an especially friendly and welcoming waitress at dinner. The only thing that wasn't great was that the pool was under construction and there was no notice of this. It doesn't seem proper to not inform guests of this before we book.

Perfect location from downtown St Johns. The hotel was clean and very spacious. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely would stay there again.
Beautiful old restored hotel in downtown. Very comfortable bed, thick towels, water was hot and plentiful. Only issue was the bathroom had a lot of mold and needs a good cleaning. It’s not “OMG, disgusting” but definitely needs attention. If we were staying more than one night I’d have raised the issue. But given that the view of the harbor is amazing and the location is surrounded by a lot of great restaurants and stores I’d still stay here again. Only other issue is the breakfast was pretty expensive - $25 for the full buffet and $18 for the continental. At those prices you might as well find a good restaurant or get room service.
Had a beautiful stay at the hilton! The pool was a perfect addition. Close location to downtown so easily able to walk to things nearby. The cannery was a great option for dinner and delicious. Service was top notch! Hotel check in was smooth and having parking was great since it is a downtown hotel. Breakfast buffet was a great option for an average cost with lots of options.
Hilton Gold member. Stayed 4 nights, 27th Aug - 31st Aug. Pleasant stay. No complaints. Room was decent - standard quality. Gym - same (bit small). About a 6-7 min walk to George St/Water St area, so location is good. Staff are fantastic though. Special shout out to Donna at front desk who was helpful and lovely. RECOMMEND.
